Description
The Vertex modeler is my friend.
The air intake will have to do for now. I used the Vertex modeler and I think i see a way to do it better. I'm trying to map as I go. Not sure about the colors just yet. I would like to say thanks to Velocicraptor for all his P-38 images. They sure have come in handy. I'm going back to the fusealge I want to make a functional nose wheel door.
What do ya think Dann-O?

Nice texturing. Are you using the 'Cylindrical Wrap" on the Engine and booms? Is the engine and boom a single piece?

I am such a sucker for a good P-38. Nice work.

Great work so far. I have been giving soem thought to the way I do soem things on aircraft after seeing how your last post was and soem of the difficulties I am having with the P-26. Particularly in the area of flaps ailerons and canopies. The intakes look spot on. Still have the superchargers at the top of the engine nacelles to do.

A draftsmans approach much in keeping with the forties. The combat record of the P-38 in Europe 1:1 was imposed on the F-4 "Phantom" as a curse after the Viet Nam War. Commmand and Control fans dismissed the superior record in the Pacific with the top aces for this Lockheed Kelly Johnson design. The real story is secret and not available to defend a U of M or a physics degree. My hand shakes as I reach up to touch it as my whispy white hair blows back.
