hey guys, hope your weekend was awesome?! here is the first card design of my fractal based tarot set im working on. this is likely to be the high priestess - a few tweaks here and there obviously, ive added a few colour variation thumbnails to give you the idea of alternatives. i'm undecided, this is an unfinished draft. I would appreciate any comments (good or bad) on this image and the ones to follow, as this is going to be a commercial venture! so come on guys n gals gimme some feedback!!! im going to use my past image 'as above so below' in this deck, it is more than likely going to be the magician card. the genre for this image IS a bit ropey - it is fractal based but has poser imagery and photography in it too, I decided to post it in the fractal gallery as a very high percentage of this image is fractal! if it should be in the mixed medium gallery then do advise....

I like this but I think I like the bottom left one a bit more as green and yellow seem more like "Empressy" colors. Do you have a color scheme or progression for the complete set of cards?

As a design it's great. The concept of a fractal art tarot is a brilliant idea. As a tarot reader... I'm not sure this says 'Empress' to me particularly. I go more for the earth/nurturance, mother angle when I think of Empress. She looks more otherworldly and perhaps closer to High priestess but... the most important thing for designing your own tarot cards is that you put what You think she is :)

I have too little knowledge of Tarot to make a valid comment. But I think your design is very beautiful. It's a shame that it's just a card, it would be great as a poster.

This is the High Priestess! She is breathtaking with all her facets and forms blending so beautifully! I like the color scheme shown in the larger image...seems to fit her. Cab't wait to see the rest of the deck!
