Why is SkyTracer enabled? Great work though!

actually my mistake, it was 53 MINUTES, 13 SECONDS, but that STILL felt like too long.......

Hehe .. thought that sounded like rather a long time! I was imagining some dusty p75 rendering away for 2 days :) Looks nice. Quite 'Fantasy' looking.

I sorta like the picture... but I do have a few problems with it.
if all the light is coming thru the window why is the inside of the cabin so well lit on areas not directly affected by the outside lightsource? Did you have your ambient light level up too high or did you place a spotlight or something inside the cabin?
I think the shadows are too harsh. If you were willing to take the beating volumetrics were gonna give you, I think you should have gone the distance and enabled radiosity as well (with little or none ambient lighting applied).
Since it was a volumetrics test I won't complain about you not rotating the texture on the window frames so they would come out really well...
I do like the windows and texturing of the woodwork a lot though, so that earns you your rating.. s

well if you run win2k like i do you can use your computer to surf the web and stuff while you are rendering with no problems at all but playing a game to pass your time is not to reccomend
