Description

This is a woodburning that I did for my doctor who has also become a very dear friend!. Some of the elements came from a pattern found at www.carvingpatterns.com. The rest, I worked in myself to create a wonderful lighthouse and ships woodburning. So sorry for being away for so long. I had a few requested pieces to do and then found out I had to have Right Carpal Tunnel Release surgery. The surgery was done last Thursday. It's getting better, but I will not be able to create any new works for a little while...AND BOY IS IT KILLING ME! I hope everyone is well! I have missed you so very much!...Cheryl

Just a quick note...This piece is in reality much, much bigger. I had to scale it down dramitically to get it to fit on the screen...Cheryl

Wow, Cheryl, I so love your old world engraving style on wood. Your art work is incredibly detailed and talented and this is no exception! I can just imagine how breathtaking the entire thing would be to see in person. Lovely work.
