Description

Well, Peter I am working on it. I like the forground, but somehow the back just falls to pieces. I haven't used the same amount of trees, but maybe you could give me some ideas on how to get the depth you have in natural beauty. right now I am at 1156 objects and 21018049 polygons.

hi Susan, it makes me very happy, that my image inspires you. your image looks already very good, nevertheless i would still change some small points. the foreground terrain would have to be put onto the water plane and should not watch through the water texture be. i think the ship would have to be also a little bigger. make an object to your measure and adjust everything else to it, then you need to put only still the objects and the proportions are right then. the background trees on the left side are too large or the houses too small, thinks of the measure. for the background i would not take as many small terrains, attempt it with 2-3 large terrains that are also a little higher. i like the composition and the many details and if you think of measure and proportion, the image of completely alone gets its depth. now i wish you a lot of success and hope it help you a little. Peter

I think this is wonderful...and since you posted as a wip the only thing I can think of is something my hubby often tells me...that my art needs a front, middle and back area...so maybe the middle could be more hazy or blured to help things "go back" into the distance? Just a thought.
