Description

i would like to wish everyone a wonderful springtime....its pooring rain here..but then the spring flowers will be that much prettier when the rain stops.. I PROTEST! i dont like the new child image guidelines..if i want to do a picture of a mother with her baby, the baby will have to be dressed or covered and little fairies are often naked..but not here anymore..this sucks..just one more rule that is way to limiting..I PROTEST!!!if they dont want perverted stuff with children then that should be the rule..but to say our little fairies and babies have to be covered or clothed is beyond me...they better look out or they will lose some customers..they are also asking you to go thru your gallery and remove anything that breaks the new rules....What do you think???????

I love her smile! Gorgeous portraits. :) Got to agree about the new rules. Cherubs shouldn't have to wear baby-grows - it will spoil the image :(

I think corporate America is taking over and turning this country into a pseudo communist country! They don't care about nudity in Europe half as much as the US. Ok sure...some people have taken things to extreme here, but were we born with pants on? I think not. Do faes go shopping at the Gap? I don't think so. It's the actions of a few that affect the masses, that's the way it'll always be....at least here, anyway. Fantastic close up portrait, it's quite astounding in details! Any closer and I'd be her dentist! Love the expressions, textures, and the lighting is just perfect! Superb work!

Very sweet and endearing smile. I have to agree with you Bill. We are even being overly political correct here. It's sad when artist are given limitations. Take the power back!

These are fantastic pictures Bill. I don't know about the fairies but the baby wise a lot of beautiful art is created when the baby is nude, plus the fact is there much in the way of baby clothes out there? I have no clue. Lovely textures :) Cathy oxoxox

Lovely images, Bill! To me, childhood is all about innocence. My kids (5 and 7) love to run around naked. I understand why the new TOS - prolly has more to do with the state laws where the server and business is located than in what the corporation wants per se. But, as a mother, I certainly don't want to see images of children being abused or used in unwholesome ways. So where do we draw the line in the sand? How do we ensure that folks will read and understand the TOS (lots of non-English speakers around here)? Personally, I hate to see censorship in art or literature. But, you just can't legislate good taste, can ya? Anyway, adorable images here, Hon! hugs Ish

This is truly beautiful lighting and texturing. I agree with you but I understand the move in the sense of when does the envelope get pushed? The lines are very gray.

As much as we don't like it, it is still their site and if we want to continue to use it for free, we have to abide by the rules. Beautiful faces Bill!

i thought it was our community, not thier site..a community usually has some say over what rules are set.i think its completely rediculous and we need to speak up now..

Thank you for addressing this subject! I believe there are enough child porn sites or 'barely legel' porn sites out there without the danger of pedophiles cruising through our naked fae pics! Come on! Give us a break here! LOL This country's becoming waaaaaaaaaaay too conservative! We're already a laughing stock of the world as being anal-retentive, why do further damage? Why not get rid of the 'violence' and 'nudity' altogether? After all, porn seeking underage children could easily cruise through our galleries and find literally hundreds of naked gals and guys! So what will Renderosity end up being? Certainly not an 'Art Community' but merely a 'Politically Correct Moral Picture Community' BUT they no longer offend anyone------they will offend everyone with artistic talent and taste! It will become a parody! All the Great Masters are weeping with shame as they watch Art become 'correct'. It's the Burning Times, folks! Our government and corporate america are creating a paranoid society.

I love the images...she looks so sweet and innocent, and the smile is great!!! I am just getting caught up on the new rule, so I don't know that much about it. I don't render children, so it doesn't affect me, but it does sadden me that it will affect a lot of the artists here. Somehow, trying to imagine a cherub with clothing on is laughable. But, I guess if we wanna play in their yard, we gotta play by their rules....Sad, but true :-(

im with you bill, i guess we can see when something is in a bad taste , and if we see it we make that person remove it

What beautiful little faces!!! There is such a tightrope to walk on this subject. The idea of anyone looking at children in such a way is way beyond the understanding or normal people. We see the beauty and innocence of a child and cant even imagine them any other way. I also see wanting to protect the beauty and innocence of children from those that would destroy it. Its a sad day when it comes to such a thing :(

Excellent close up work! When an artist is asked to remove an image from a gallery you lose much of the community feeling. When others (who may not be artists themselves) are asked "If you find an image that needs to be reviewed" please send the URL to admin where it will be up to the discretion of a "team" with a finger on the delete button to review the image, you lose even more of that feeling. Well done piece of art Bill!!!

The images are glorious and so full of the innocence that a child holds. BLUELOTUS could not have said it better as far as I am concerned. A friend of mine has already had her gallery effected by this. I'm not too proud to admit that I cried when she had to remove her image. Another friend had a market item effected. Again, I cried about that. And I don't cry easily. This is beyond sad. I join you in that I PROTEST!!!!!!

What a cute cute character Bill! To me, individuals who gleen through artist's galleries to find nude faerie images have a real problem, and need a life. On the other hand..the hours gleening through to find such images might keep their depraved arses off the streets and away from real kids. I dress my kids when I do art, just because I think they'd be cold other wise LOL Well, and because, I think when children of any ilk are fluttering about in the out of doors they ought to have something to protect them from the elements. I don't like sensorship, but I do like responsibility. I thought we were all pretty responsible artists here.

First, those are two magnificent portraits. Those freckled faces are too cute! Awesome closeup, marvelous detail in their skin. And I join the crowd in the protest. I don't want perverted stuff, I hate abuse. One of the most impressive and beautiful posters I've ever seen was depicting a nude woman holding her baby, also nude. It was all about love between mother and child. Nothing sexual. And an image like that would now be banned... Way over the top. Thanks for sharing! I PROTEST!!!

Well, I think that it's a shame! It doesn't really effect me, because all of my renders are of BIG girls, but I think there's a pretty clear line between child porn and FAIRIES!!! I think the wosrt part is making the rule retroactive!!!!! What a huge pain for artists to go back through their entire gallery!!!!!!! Well, enough of this-I think the expression is just fantastic!!! I wish I could get a natural looking smile on my characters!!! EXCELLENT!
