Description

Many, many years ago, Mrs. sputter and I took a trip to the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. This is a quick sketch of how I remember the scenery. In the sky is a rather unsatisfactory attempt at drawing cirrus clouds...I'll keep experimenting! Thanks for looking in.

The patterns remind me of early Tolkien drawings. You might take a look at how he dealt with it.

Beautiful work, Pal!! The perspective and the way the mountains fade into the distance through the mist is really effective!!! You might add some hillbillys for some additional intrest, though!! LOL!! EXCELLENT work!!!!

Wonderful B/W drawing! The stonewall and the never ending hills in the background are fabulous! Excellent light and shadow work! V

Cool drawing .. I like how much depth you managed to get into this - feels like I can view far out in the distance here (lovely mist/haze feeling you created). Excellent work!
