Description

THE BEHOLDER This one goes to Inga (Ilutegija) - The Rhodora - On Being Asked, Whence is the Flower? [Excerpted] By Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882) ...If the sages ask thee why This charm is wasted on the earth and sky, Tell them, dear, that if eyes were made for seeing, Then Beauty is its own excuse for being: Why thou wert there, O rival of the rose! I never thought to ask, I never knew; But, in my simple ignorance, suppose, The self-same Power that brought me there ... brought you

It may be out of focus but it also lends itself to giving it the painters effect. I love how your eye and the camera are exploring new limits. :)

I'd like to say at this point that my own appreciation of this image is based on a surreal connection I make with this form... I see a winged angel holding a golden book...for me this is very surprising and not uninteresting...I debated posting this and other images with blur problems but everything isn't always about super clarity ... I am human, not a machine... I work the machine not vice versa!... does anyone know everything?... have everything? is this clarity? ...what is clarity? maybe some things always get lost in a glow anyhow. Thanks for your comments.

You see an angel and I see ? Each one of us has their own mind's eye. I think the important thing is to post what moves you and hope that there's something in it that touches others. I see beauty.
