Description

Hastings. Who passed away last Wednesday. "He waits for me among fluffy clouds sprouting sprigs of celestial catnip and bands of stardust raining delicate bits of salmon and tuna."

I am very sorry to hear of your loss as I not only love cats but also have one getting on in her age. I can see by this photograph he was more than just a pet, but part of the family. I truely feel for you. Permit me to share a true story. Thanksgiving almost 35 years ago, a stray silver grey Persian cat that entered my life a few weeks before, died that day in my arms. It was raining outside, I mean it was coming down and the sky was dark, but when he passsed away, the rain stopped and the sky opened to let some sun out. It lasted no more than a couple of minutes before the rain came down in buckets. I burried Caeser in a wooden box with his favorite toy. He was also the only cat that one day presented me with a dead bird as a gift for taking him in. The things we will never forget as you have your memories of Hastings. Take care.

I am very sorry for your loss. I lost my schnauzer of 11 + years in July of last year and my Blue and Gold Maccaw in June of last year. It not a good summer! We adopted a basset from the pound after swearing off never getting attached to another animal. Well, THAT was a fib! We are very attached to Molly the basset! ;) Don't they just get into your hearts and stay there? My macaw died in my arms at the vet.
