Evie fantastic and very informative. I knew nothing about these creatures. That Black Dragon looks like it's from a pre-historic time. What a set of teeth on that monster. I wonder if it's found in only that part of the world. Most interesting work here. I'll check the net to see what info I can get on these creatures. Big Vote !

Dear Evie, very strange indeed! Black Dragon could have been the model for the Alien movies (shivver!) It's always so interesting to see how the flora and fauna have adapted to their environments. I'm alwasy amazed with the blind cave fish - and with the green plants growing hundreds of feet undergound, nourished by the cavern lighting. And now, so many things have ben discoved living in hot water, acidic water, deep underground, in the Antactic ice - it makes you wonder what might show up when a detailed life study is done of Mars. That Chimaera looks like the missing link between fish and reptiles. I don't think I would want to eat any of these guys, but the feeling isn't mutual, I'm sure. I'll take a hamburger anyday. My friend, a Vegetarian, criticizes me for my love of burgers. He says Cows are bad. They consume huge amounts of vegetation for just a few pounds of meat... That a huge percentage of farmland is devoted to growing their food.. Their farts are affecting the ozone layer... I should be more thoughtful about the eco system. I said I am. What do you do that's good for the environment He asks.. I said.. I eat them damn cows! (lol) Anyway, thanks for sharing these pics, never know what's at the bottom of such a large ocean. There went my ocean skinny-diping for a while! We need a bigger boat!! I don't care to eat fish because they eat smaller fish and my goldfish eats it's own bows when I don't feed it, and that goldfish food leaves a smell on my fingers that don't go away! vote
