Description
This is another photo from Milos island. The little fishing-village is named "Klima" and is a trademark of the island because of the colors painted on the doors & window frames. The basement of these houses were used for guarding the boats from the weather, while the fishermen lived on the upper floors. During the last years the village was nearly deserted as most of the people went to Athens for finding jobs (this is a problem in all Greek islands)

Magnificent and colourful local; sad about the hard times they must be enduring. Well done!

Sorry to hear that those cute houses stay empty because of problems with finding job (it's a very common - too common - problem in Poland, too). Great shot, I'm amazed by how you captured the depth and reflections on the water, fantastic job. I love those housies, I wish I could see the place by myself, in real life - to make sure these aren't toys :)

Wow .. cool picture, and a tragic story. This is history you capture for the future generations to see what once were. Excellent work!
