Wonderful image and great subject. I fuind your synopsis as pointed as the pictures themselves. I would love to be able to visit these once beautiful buildings. Maybe someday I suppose, I will afford such travels.

well, if we make a few photos once in a while doesn't mean that those buidings/churches are still in use...but, indeed, we must sign the guest book to leave a trace for the next visitors...very nice photo!

Interesting combination of the two churches. The textures on the door and keys are great. It's sad to see any building in the state of St. Peters - at least you've visited and made a record!
