Description

- Scotland, Loch Awe - The unusual and beautiful created Chancel you see here is perhaps borne out by the circle of Standing Stones. I did not shoot it completely in the center because I tried to catch the wonderful windows behind. Have a look at the unique chairs (close up tomorrow) between the columns! I was very impressed by them! Thanks for all your interest and valuable comments! ;o)))

Quite a shot. I love these interior shots of old buildings. Churches are particularly interesting. Too dark for non-flash? (Just wondering)

It's quite an unusual chancel, not the apse but the arcade. Next time you get the chance Rita, put the camera on a tripod and shoot without flash. I think you will get a pleasant surprise. Shoot twice, one exposed for the interior and one for the windows and clone the two together as I always do when possible. Excellent shot!!!

This is really interesting... it appears as though the columns/arches are independent of the room and perform no load-bearing function. Fascinating Spock.. and a great shot.
