Description

First let me thank all who looked and commented on my last render. This is another scene created in Vue4 Pro but not rendered or submitted as I was waiting for Vue Infinite. The scene is lit using IBL. I stumbled across the sky on the web somewhere (I cannot remember where) and turned it into a HDRI using HDRShop by Paul Debevec. The castle is from our fellow Renderosity member rodluc2001 and can be found in the free section. The only eco-system in the scene are the trees in the background. Everything else was done in Vue4 Pro. This is a just for fun/test render, and will be changed slightly at some point, so please give me any suggestions, tips, help you may have to improve the image. Wow, whan an explosion in color. Fellow Rodluc has done an awesome job (we knew it already) but you did too to set it in scene so excellently. Superb one Gareth.

This is spectacular from the POV all the way to the sky and all points in between.Only suggestion could be to maybe tile the roof? But it has a nice fantasy look as it is.

Super sky, Gareth! Excellent use of the vegtation and water! I agree that a bit of a bump or tile to the roofs would make them less single shade/smooth. Excellent compositon!!

Splendid sky! But IMO overall light needs some more focus... I mean, its mainly reddish, but the castle seems grayish. Maybe adding a little red light were it's supposed to be the sun :) Anyways fantastic fantasy work!!!
