Description
The crocus is generally the first flower to bloom in our area of Colorado. I found this beautiful specimen in our yard yesterday.
According to the MSN House & Home newsletter, "An early and colorful spring bloomer, this hardy crocus chases away the last remnants of snow to usher in spring."

Yup they are the first flowers here (germany) too. I live on 1000mtrs above sea, nature needs there a little more time after winter, but crocus is already here :-) Beautiful capture !
