Hello, my friends.....I'm deciding to take a short hiatus from Rendo until I regain the creative wind that seems to have been stolen from my sails. I promise to still check your galleries as often as possible, for my days would be incomplete without the beauty and joy your art brings to me. Thank-you so much for all of the support and wonderful comments you have always given me....and thank-you even more for seeing nothing evil or obscene behind the smile of a faerie, or the sleeping eyes of a little mermaid.

Laurie please dont be gone to long your are very important part of this commutity for me even more so your art reminds my of something I had almost forgotten it makes me smile and warms me, It is like the laughter of children on a summers day the magic that is only yours!! What is happening is wrong and I am so sorry they took away some of your sweet art that you are hurt by it bothers me even more.This is more than I ever talk but you are important please brush these thing off as quickly as you can. The image is heartbreaking, but your message is even more so. Where we all be without the magic of a fae's smile or the tender innocence of a mermaid's sleeping face. The myraid emotions you have brought with your images will be so sorely missed. I have always looked forward to seeing the magic you create with each image you do. Nay..do not stay away. Your work is so very beautiful and has so much meaning and feeling to it...all anyone has to do to know what you are feeling is to gaze upon one of your images..words are not needed. It is a sad time for many artists here...but we should not let others with their small, one track minds, control us and keep us from creating. Tho we may be harnessed, we have to work around this, else our creativity dies...and so shall we..inside. :( Do come back soon Laurie, as you have read here there are many who love and admire your works, and to deny them your creations would be cruel..to deny yourself would be equally as cruel...Now I have said my spill..this image you have created says it all! I smile more, chuckle and just outright LOVE your wonderful little children. There is nothing even remotely obscene to anything you do and our days will not be complete without you here!!! Little faes aren't supposed to cry...but neither are old men.:( It will be a much smaller place without you my friend. But believe that many of us have been shaken by a sad reality in a place we go to take refuge from it. Keep a smile in your heart, sweet thoughts in your noodle...and keep that hiatus short!! :) ...and if you land somewhere else, I want to know about it:D ! Not sure what to say...only that I cannot understand the lengths that Renderosity is going to keep a safe sight...why do people have to go to extreems? why is a fairy, fae, woodland creature or sea dwelling mermaid considered a "human child". If all this were correct, when I read my fantasy novels....I will have visions of children in places where a fairy should be...Re group my friend..you art is amazing and your creativity phenomenal, dont look at this as a set back! Will miss your wonderful views )=

I'm not an artist, but I do write. I love viewing the galleries here, and wish I could do what you do, but intimidated by the beauty of it all with no idea how to start. Now, for my opinion on this after viewing for several months and just recently posting. I first came here "chasing fairies" etc. so to speak by a link froom Spiritfoxy. Before you can view, you have to join. When joining, you can have a filter on that which you do not wish to view...click it if you do not wish to see it. I personally find beauty in nudity when done tastefuly as I've seen here on "Rosity. As for your gallery, your faes etc., I have seen nothing obscene, just beautiful, innocent creatures. I think it is the ones viewing and censoring and complaining that have the problem...not you or the pictures you create. They are the ones that see obscenity where there is none. I hope you come back soon...I will miss your work as will many others that see nothing but beauty and innocence in it...
