Description
I watched this guy for long time. He was limping around and trying to get with the rest of the flock. Unfortunately, being injured I guess he couldn't fly. He finally settled down along the shore of a marshy pond and decided to rest. When I took this image I felt sad, because I think he knew without being able to fly or run things didn't look to good for him tonight. Hope he/she makes it. Comments Welcome!

Sad story, but nature can be quite harsh; I hope he/she makes it too; with a little luck, perhaps. Your image is excellent and coupled with the story is heart rending - magnificent illustration. V

AWWE poor guy he is so sad ..he wants to go!! i would have takenhim home with me (LOL) i hope he is ok can you go back and check up on him? beautiful shot!

Beautiful image of swan and surroundings are all that he/she would ever want. If this was his last flight it is appropriate that his/her beauty was captured and will forever be. The white feathers are still captivating yet there is sadness in his/her eyes. Nature knows what to do. We could learn. Moving shot and story.
