Needs more blood inaround the thorns (it wasn't a picnic) Maybe skin needs to be a tad darker for middle-east?

Great Image, I would agree with Madballs64, there needs to be more dark blood on his face let alone around the thorns. And a litte more post work in blending the part you added on/around the left shoulder.

I wasn't actually trying to make a "bloody" or realistic image here. It is a representation of a feeling made in the traditional old fashioned style. I fixed the left shoulder. That was an anomoly of the post processing and I failed to notice it. Thanks for pointing it out.

Absolutely a HUGE superb for this one. I think I understand what you are saying about the way you've portraied Christ...it's the way one precieves it. Thank you for such a great image...wish I had thought of doing something like this.
