Description

Today is the day when Western Christians (Catholics and Protestants) celebrate the cricifiction of Jesus Christ. Eastern Christians (Orthodox) will do the same in a couple of weeks. Sorry I couldn't find a suitable cricifiction - this is from the Cathedral in Basle (Switzerland)

Excellent picture to commemorate the day but sad for all the Christian of the world, but Christ triumphed and to of conquering to the death and the darkness with his so prospective resurrection next Sunday..!!! Happy Easter!!!

Excellent detailled capture ! off topic: I like Basel , its a wonderful town with lots of interesting architecture. But crazy to drive around with car there ;-)
