Description

http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/16467170/ Malign usually implies impending or lurking danger that makes its presence felt by ominous signs or portents Terragen Terrain: was a new one 2049x2048, this time a combo of WM and TF2 (i'm really liking TF2's results) Atmosphere: was a simple one that I used in my hidden away pic, but changed the settings to give a more sinister/dark look Surface: boy oh boy, you wouldn't believe how complex I made this surface  there were about 30-40 layers of surface mapping fury on this heh, doesn't look much though does it ;) or is that what I want you to think :O Rendered at 4000x3000 for 16:16:59 hours and 21147002 quads Photoshop Real simple manipulation this time, just color contrasting, sharpening and very few textures, infact I brushed a lot of the colors and manips in this time. T4V :)

a beautiful image, if not a little menacing!!;)the thumbnail does not do this justice, nor does the small image size, still this is excellent with alot of good details, that show your hard work and deserves more comments...resize bigger next time!:)

thankyou inky, I really had shrink all the image because of the small size allotted by render-osity, if you click the first link I give you, you can get to a much better resolution pic. thankyou again :)

Excellent surface like how you used the strata, But what happened to the water?

I used to have troubles making thumbnails small enough to, but if you save them as an optimized jpeg and maybe take the quality down a notch or two, you shouldn't have any trouble. Excellent surface, although the shadows on the cliffs are perhaps a little to dark and don't let you see enough detail.

My screen brightness was unusually high when I made it, which is why the cliffs are a bit dark..
