Description

It's early morning on Tropica Island, and my is it cold along the coast. I had the good fortune to see MarioG's work as my second artist to view on Renderosity (found him through Orbital's favorite artist links). He is the undisputed master of landscapes. Well, they say that imitation is the highest form of flattery, so here's my feeble attempt at mimicing Mario's style, with a bit of me thrown into the mix ;-) All Bryce except for the shore mist and the background waterfall which were Paint Shop Pro. Render took about two and a half hours. Hope you like it! I'm fairly new to landscaping, so I would greatly appreciate comments/ideas! Have a "Good Friday"!

This render is very dark Try turning on Gamma Correction and lightening up your sky ( Custom Sky Center rectangle ) perhaps move your sun around to get a greater sense of depth? Keep at it!

I'm quite flattered at your dedication!! I remember when I first started in Bryce (see my beginner's stuff at 3DCommune). It only took me 4 years to get good at Bryce....keep at it!! You definitely have an eye for composition! Bryce can be very, very rewarding if you have patience. Take care, Mario.
