Description

Finished at last! As some of you may know, this one started out as a simple sketch in Photoshop, and pretty much got out of control. :) Foreground architecture in Cinema4D, background city painted with Photoshop & Wacom I2. A thread showing the painting progress can be viewed here Hope you enjoy.

excellent work. the only thing i would change is that there are two people on the ramp, about dead center, just above the balcony, that look like they need to be blurred, their rez seems to be sharper then those around, or at same distances. I would also like to change some of the tower/rods/peaks of some of the buildings, they all seem too uniform, or i don't know they seem too much like line tool in paint program. besides that, it is a super fricken awsome picture, as is all your art, not trying to be a smart a$$, just trying to be critical to help you grow bro. keep up the excellent work!

MAN! You are too good! I love the steps and it is incredible. Hard to tell where the sketching and rendering is. Awesome sense of scale and I always love those distant lights that to me remind me of Bladerunner. I think you've surpassed Gary Tonge?. Amazing job!

Astounding, the background buildings look like they were made in a 3d package. I do agree that some of the rods look to uniform, but who am I to question.

Hi Rudy. Another excellent piece of artwork but, I would like to ask why you dont try making the Foreground architecture in Bryce rather than in Cinema4D?............not luckily enough to play with Cinema4D i wonder what the difference is. PS, What is the standard size & render of an image you work in Bryce.just curious, sorry. Marc

I agree with Quest, the Grand Central is five more blocks down from where this picture was taking, so just because u dont think we have bin there, dont mean u can fool us :)) ------------------------------------------------- you work is nothing less but perfect - I think i just hit the ranking button from now on ;))

Wonderful designs and execution all 'round. The sunset colours are perfect for the scene. The last rays of the setting sun glowing in the right hand corner 'make' the image for me.

Excellent from me too...even if i think that should have done this entirely freehand and not mixed it with the cinema 4D foreground, because i think that the rendered stuff is a bit static while the freehand stuff is stunning and much more "alive"....but who am i to tell you what to do?....i can't even draw a straight line ;) Again..excellent.

I love it when you lose control;-) I love the colors you choose for your scenes, and the wonderful atmosphere! Your buildings are personalities in their own right!
