Description

A repost from the last picture before i deleted my intere gallery at the beginning of march 2005. Call it stupidity, i would call it that way, the stupidity of the whole world. I have been using Bryce since 1999, Terragen (although it wasn't call that back then) from my time is still used the Amiga. Photoshop and Xpress (somehow i can't recall when i started with Illustrator) where relative new in 1992 and it was hot in comparison what we where using back then, its al so long ago, my first computer, a ZX81 turns 24 this year and he still works, i made my first 3d-pictures on a 64x48 pixel resolution, a 3d wire of a cube (what else). I wrote the program in parts myself, the main part of the program was based on an old proggie where 3d coords where calculated into 2d coords, i borrowd a line drawing routine (ZX 81 had no DRAW-command) wich could also clip at the border of the screen. The average drawing time of a 12 line cube was somewhere between 10 and 20 minutes ^___^ Anyway its not more than fitting to upload this one, this is work i did originally in august 2001, and rerendered and added new postwork to it in march 2005. It also stands as a monument, Empty as it is. As a warning against intolerance, prejudice and al those other things that rears its ugly head so often in the galleries and on the forums, yes those ugly things. March 2005 is for me a black march 2005. Another empty gallery left in its wake. Not anymore.

Beautiful and forlorn. As empty as it seems now it is just waiting for more beauty to fill it... Outstanding image!

Fantastic work of art. Especially the cold feel of emptiness with the warmth of light trying to get in. V

The structure is awesome, I also love the light and POV. Not very much to see on this pic but it's full of atmosphere and gives a lot of space for the own thougts. Really an excellent job!
