Wow. The bio below is now 15 years old. Well, I'm still around, and still have almost no time for my personal art, but still hoping to find some. I mostly do images for book covers, movie posters, promotional materials and advertising, interface & web, and social media. The software in the list is not only that I'm expert in, but that I play with and am interested in learning more of.
When I first found this community, years ago, I thought it would be a good place to show off how much I had learned. I know now, it's actually a place to show how much I still have left to learn. ...And to learn some of it.

Very well done. Precise work. The mats and lighting make it all come alive.

Absolutely beautiful. I rather like this one, but I rather like needles. ;)

very cool syringe/materials, and excellent green goop inside. i think it would add a lot to it to bulk up some of the parts - it looks a little flimsy. perhaps thickening up the base of the needle where it joins the syringe, and the plunger bar a bit - it would almost disappear in a render with a character. (its almost as thin as the needle). what did you model this in? cheers, -gabriel

I hate needles. Nice work though!

I answered Gabriel in PM, and it just ocurred to me that I should post the answer here as well... It was modeled & rendered in Bryce. And, yeah.. The plunger rod is way too thin, on closer examination... Thanks, G. And thank you to everyone else, as well. :-)

This looks like a syringe from a Steven King novel. This is such impressive work. Excellent render. And, as others have stated, I hate needles but love this. Kudos!
