I sure do Liz. Often time is spent at the store and I say blow it all. Food is enjoyment to me, I get to much from eating it to ever stop. PS it nice to see another post from you, I have been missing your work ;0)

So many dietary warnings are mutually contradictory that I no longer read or pay attention to any of them. I simply try to be moderate most times ... and totally lavish occasionally. I'll die sometime anyway - so I'll just enjoy living in the meantime. A timely and well-reasoned piece of work, my friend, with which I completely concur.

Yes, I too have missed your writings. Glad you have came back to join us also. "HUGS" I understand what you have written here, and my take on it all is there is a lot of people starving in the world, even us who may appear we are far from it yet we are starving our bodies are often attempting to compensate with the cravings for this or that thus we many times over eatand all because of the lack of nutrition our food is suppose to give us these days The fed well, those of us who are able to eat a well balanced meal often feel tired all the timethis should not be the case yet it is. While in this thought, one word comes to mind. "Money" There is an old saying in business, find a need, and fill it. Well I think more often these days, some folks in business are not just finding a need to fill many are creating one.

Remember when - "Sex was 'dirty' and the air was 'clean'?" - WINK. Yes, I dearly miss those days, also. I feel even more sad for our youth of today. In 'my' day the neighbors all knew one another. House doors were unlocked. You could get a ride if your car broke down from many people. People welcomed you to your new house/neighborhood. `Sigh~ Most excellent piece of work, per your usual. PEACE & LOVE dear soul.

Gimme beans and rice! :) I've quit eating a lot of foods because they are no longer foods, e.g., "red delicious" apples. Well, they're usually red, okay, but NEVER delicious! Oranges the size of grapefruit (How big is a grapefuit, really? About the size of a modern orange!) and no food value, meals with more chemicals than protein, meats with more synthetic hormones than blood...I live in an area filled with rednecks who don't think. They're not picky about their food, so the grociers stock garbage and toxic waste. Then there's the soap aisle (incidentally next to the pet food aisle, so the pet food smells like detergent). I'm convinced the chemicals in our food and soap are the number one cause of cancer in America today...and I've lost Dad, Mom, grandparents, nephews, brothers-in-law, and now am losing my big dog, to cancer. # I want to go home. (but it's not there anymore.)

I will be the first one to admit, I was a serious junk food junkie for a long time. Now I have to be careful, I have type 2 diabetes. I still have hotdogs... just ones made from soy and veggies. I grieve with thee babes, you have lost so many. HUGZ
