ooo dont hate me but you did ask for 'honest'. I dont like the girl - she is too 'doll like' and in my opinion this does not fit with the scene ~ look at the light reflecting on her - it is rather bright white where as the rest of the picture the light is yellow. The eagles wing looks a little broken. Putting the boat out on the water with a native fisherman and set the dock back a little with an island girl waving him in - with this scene could work well, and look at a different bird - one who has been following the boat - hoping to make himself a catch too... but hey your image is in the top 20 - this is only my thoughts!

I agree totally with Sheila. YOU like her there and it's your vision.No one elses. I do,however think the light on her is a tad too strong.It should be warmer,(more yellow/pink/orange) and not so much from the left.Maybe that's why people felt she didn't belong.Her lighting is a bit off.Hope you don't mind my telling you this. You know I love your work.The rest of the pic is absolutely perfect. What a dreamy place!
