Description
This is just a little attempt at reality.
Im still figuring out the nuances of HDRIs and
GI, but I think it came out alright.
Thanks for looking, comments and suggestions welcome.

FabioNemo has added a new word to my vocabulary "excellentissimo" -- a good word, too, for an image like this. I'm not quite sure what the banding is in the tile at the lower right-- is it supposed to be there?

Ooops... I can see the wiring of the saucer... Isn`t the number of subdivisions too low? ***** Anyway, I really like this img! Especially the textures-they produce a dark, misty mood-from a cup of coffee! Unusual way of showing such a thing.

Very nice, The only thing i would say is that the Hdri, could possibly be a bit too strong, as the yellowy orange highlight, looks a little wrong. (i think, mite just be me) I say this because you would suspect a strong light source from that......Anyway good work

Aye, aside from what's been said, to me only the saucer and the spoon's handle give it away as CG... Looking great, though!

thank you, but im still rather new to this. i only got 3ds max 7 a couple months ago, im really just wingin' it most of the time. this happened to come out better than others

I rated this as excellent and it really is, excelent work!! Only one question; why is there an empty coffee cup on the floor? In reality I can't think of a good reason. Your work IS excellent but sometimes I wonder whether the context of an image is taken as seriously as the need to test the capability of our computers?
Camtron
that would because the tile floor reacted best to the lighting, also i dont have a lot in the way of materials.
