When it comes to choosing between FraxFlame and Apophysis, I like Apoph better. I'd guess you added the water effect from Flaming Pear's Flood Fill tool, a useful filter for me at times. Keep up the work!

Brussel sprours...BLEEEUGH!!!! (That would be the sound of extreme aversion) This is a very cool flame, though. There is a lot more going on here than first meets the eye.

Simply beautiful render! I love your choice of rich, bold colors, they really stand out and the reflective effect was an excellent idea.
