Dear Calum, I'm a complete newcomer to your gallery - and only been at Renderosity for a little over a month. David IM'd me about your dedication. You could not have picked a finer person. David has been a friend since my first day at Renderosity and has been so sweet and helpful (and patient!!) at assisting a newby find her way around. And not only has he been so much help, but he has also become such a dear friend - we both hit the 2K limits on IM's frequently. Thank you so much for doing this for him as I know how much he appreciates it!! He was "jumping for joy" in his IM to me. Thank you for being such a true and steadfast friend to him!! As I said, this is my first stop at you gallery, but Im really flabbergasted at your talent. The dragon is so awesome! Im not much of a reptile fan (stand on a chair at the mere thought of one!) but I DO like dragons! Digital even has one as a pet that she got from one of the guys at work. I need to trot him out for a post sometimes. I also think that the charm of dragons is their mythological origins. Im always amazed at how many different cultures they appear in. Kind of makes you wonder at times about the progenitor of the myths as they appear in both western and eastern cultures. And even in pre-Columbian America. I think of Queztacotl as a dragon variant. Your clouds are also amazing! I cant believe they were done in Poser. I always either paint them in post or use a photograph. Yours are very well done and extremely realistic. The soaring seagull and the lens flare on the sun are both outstanding touches that increase the verisimilitude. This is a totally excellent fantasy piece. Im so glad to have been led to your gallery and will be waiting to see what you do next. I also intend to look over everything else youve posted. Thank you for sharing this picture with us and thank you so much for the dedication to David!!! Youve really made his day and mine!! Love, Meredith

Great lighting and atmosphere. I bought that Bryce pack too and right now the only thing I got is a cloudier head! 8-) The dragon and its textures look impressive. That bird looks a bit blurred and I think it's because he's doesn't see the dragon as a friend at all and it feels jittery. 8-) Excellent.

The reptilian presence in the air is creepy. Just the smell of carrion is enough to make me gag. The pas de deux with the bird took me by surprise. I guess no stork this time. Miscarriage is a real disappointment when fertility is demonstrated in a supposedly sterile operating space.
