Description
This is another shot from our trip to northern france.
It's the famous Mont Saint-Michel.
Unfortunately the tide was low (do you say it that way in english? Es war jedenfalls Ebbe) and so there was no water ;-) what a surprise...
Thanks to flaming pear flood, now there is. ;-)
Short History:
The archangel Michel told bishop Aubert d'Avranches in a dream to build a chapel on this mountain. After a while he did so an others who came afterwards built here a little and constructed there a bit.
And nowadays everything is full of tourists and because of the road that leads to through the bay there'S not much sea anymore but meadows.. ;-)
