Description

Thought some time whether I should post this "snow owl" or not ? It may look cruel to some of you, but nature isn't always that "beauty, cutie" we want it to be. And when you consider how cruel people are on this earth .... (Canon Eos300d,Sigma 170-500mm at 500mm, f5.6, ISO400, mf ) Thanks for your interest !

Ciao Chris. Brilliant this photograph ! I particularly love all the owls and to have been able to photograph this one, with its prey in the nozzle, it is really a chance ! I would not like to be in the place of the mouse... but it is the natural law, and in the animal world, there isn't the cruelty of the worst species of this world : the man !!!!

Your words are true. This is mother nature in the raw and although it can be hard to view sometimes...there's a beauty in it unmatched by no other. A fantastic capture!

EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT = my vote ! ! Wonderous capture, composition, color (hee, hee white on white!). Going on my desktop immediately---and, yes, perfectly reflects our "human" world of today. Many thanks, from a wildlife painter, for this incredible pix. unicorn1776.
