Description

Well, it's been awhile since my last post. I had spring break and was busy the entire time! But I will be getting a new camera here in a couple weeks! So I am VERY excited about that. No more 2 MP no zoom! It's going to be so cool. Anyway, I took this some time ago and didn't post it. When I took it there was no wind, and only the noise of passing cars. It was really kind of eerie. Also notice the odd little patch of color in the clouds, I used that small area as my thumbnail for this image. I thought that that was a little strange, just like a little rainbow or something! Enjoy.

Sunsets, cloud formations and light gives excellent and NEW surprises always. The choice of that little 'bit' for the thumb was perfect. The refraction of sunlight in the tiny drops of water in that part of the cloud shows a tiny and beautiful rainbow. I love this !!! VVV.

Those iridiscent colors are more frequent than you'd think. They appear in moderate clouds close to the sun. It's a very beautiful shot with a special mood!
