Description

FlopTron (Floppy) -brown and white tabby longhair -female (spayed) -approx 2 yrs old. Floppy was found abandoned in an empty appartment about a year ago. Her previous owners moved but left her alone in an empty appartment. Floppy was introduced to a household with 2 existing senior cats, Ramjet and Rocket. When Ramjet or Rocket hissed at Floppy, she would flop over on her side. Within a week, all tension between the cats had disappeared. Floppy integrated very well. She spent the first week in her new home licking her owner's face. Floppy appreciates her new home. Floppy has such a thick coat of longhair, she will cause the background noise in any room she is in to drop 3 decibels. Floppy loves to watch television. Her favourate shows are Stargate SG-1 and the new Battlestar Galactica series. Floppy was named after her method of getting along with the old cats. And Floppy has taken the fine art of flopping to a new level. She has four styles of flopping: The 90 degree flop where she simply flops over on her one side. The 180 degree flop where she ends up on her back. The 270 degree flop where she ends up on her other side. The 360 degree flop where she ends back on her feet. Floppy was featured at Westmount Centre for a preview of a catshow that the Shaw Conference Centre had over the long weekend. You'll have to ask bastetkitty about the details.

Very cute. "Floppy" is a good name for a cat, I think. Seems a bit cruel to put a cat in a cage, though... is that the only way you could get her to pose for the camera? ;P

Beautiful example of a Maine Coon. But let's see her flopping in action. You might want to consider some figure work of Bastetkitty and Floppy together. I've had a lot of fun photographing nudes and their cats.

Um, guys, Floppy is neither my nor bastetkitty's cat. She was there for a presentation, and I just had my camera there at that time.

The Edmonton Cat Fanciers Club at the Shaw Confrence Center proved to be as interesting as I had hoped. I was able to photograph some really nice kitties and asap, they will be posted. Floppy was, agreeably, a sweetie, but very shy. She couldn't be let out of her cage for the caretakers feared her taking off and in an environment like Westmount Mall, she probably would have.
