Description

Another low blow from renderosity as they have now closed and locked armourbeasts thread on the TOS for no reason...usually if there is alot of cussing or it gets personal they will lock the thread, but these things didnt happen, they just locked it cuz they didnt want to here anymore as they thought it had been discussed enough..What Bullsh*t! so i guess the only place to make a statement is here on our posts and in our comments, and we could always write each and every moderator and team member everyday and send them a form letter like the one i got, but stating what we want.. and i thought the forums were for discussions and i thought especialy the community forum would be open..this sends a pretty lousy message.. sorry i am still on this subject but i really think important freedoms are at stake.and even though moderators said some things would be ammended,i havent seen anything change yet.

Sheeesh! I was in the forum this week and read a lot of those messages. The forums are always one place I check out. The community forum, the Poser forum, Copyright forum and Merchants are one I visit often. I don't understand why Aiko 3 is considered to be a child figure. I went to my gallery and deleted the fairy images I made using her. The clothing was transparent or bikini style. But I wanted to be sure I wasn't in violation. I like this portrait. Great lighting.

Somehow this doesn't surprise me at all. They deleted DarkWing-Zero's gallery with no notice the other day, as well. It's getting crazier by the day here! Soon they will shut down the comments on the images and leave us to only post Gumby and Pokey images! Shrugs head Well, the good news is this image is Superb!! =D Fantastic, gorgeous portrait and I think this is the best I have ever seen GLH! I thought it was painted at first it's so pretty! Beautiful character and the lighting and post work are top notch!! Might as well squeeze off a few good renders before they take our copies of Poser away from us, too! lol! Yes, it's getting that bad! Excellent work, Bill!!

Well, what's a member to do when the PTB take control? I still don't understand the A3 thing, but I'll keep whatever images I have of her up and running until they pull the plug. This is gorgeous work, Hon! Excellent lighting and expression, and the hair is wonderful. hugs Ish

missed the thread, wish I had gotten there. I did hear about DarkWingZero's gallery, and that really made me sad. Again she recieved no notice what so ever! She had to contact them and ask what was up. BluEcho,I"m sure you will not read this, but I am very sorry to hear that you deleated some of your Aiko renders to keep "them" from yanking your gallery. More of MY FAVORITES gone forever I guess. Kinda sickens me!!!!!

deleting a gallery without notice is wrong - locking a thread that is being conducted civily is wrong but this portrait is very right and stunning Chris :o)

It saddens me to hear they locked a perfectly civil thread just because they were tired of hearing it?? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me, and neither does deleting someones entire gallery without even a warning....Did we wake up in Russia this morning??? Well, all that aside, I love this portrait...it's one of the most beautiful I've seen :-)

People stated that because they didn't do certain types of images, the new TOS doesn't effect them. These same people made that statement on a civil thread now locked because someone doesn't want it discussed anymore. Naw...It doesn't effect them, does it? insert sarcasm Gorgeous portrait, Bill. Simply stunning.

A whole gallery! I got an image pulled once, my very first try. Ok it was probably my fault but lose a whole gallery and not even be told about it. That's awful. I am not really up on Renderosity terms I take it this is a discussion page "thread" well you sure made a statement with this image it's outstanding and superb! Cathy xooxox

I do know that DarkWingZero did alot of girl renders that showed bare boobs, but to delete a whole gallery, comon. Maybe she took it out in protest of having her girl pics targeted. At least I hope that's the case. If not,it truely is a sad day here. Lovely portrait, love the lighting. Excellent+++

First of all, this is a beautiful portrait...your light is just incredible! A big Vote for that! When it comes to this site we all need to reasses the intent of this website...as the owners have already doen so. Renderosity is NOT an Artists Community. Renderosity is a marketplace for generating $$$ from internet Poser and other software related product sales. It is America so under a free market economy the owners are well within their rights to take whatever course of action they deem appropriate to furthur this end. Consumers, on the other hand are free to take whatever course they deem necessary. Personally, I'm saddened by their change in direction. -jay

We had one of our images removed months ago and it hurt to lose it -Like you and so many other artists, we care a great deal about what we create and share with others in this community. I can't imagine losing an entire gallery. I'm sorry to hear the thread was locked - because artists really do need a place to voice their feellings and frustrations. This is a very lovely portrait - such soft beauty and exquisite lighting and I'm happy to see your creativity is alive and well.. CC

I think it's really sad that so many long time members are feeling alienated by Renderosity. It just seems to me that there are so many different ways to handle things that would not leave so many bad feelings!! I'll be interested to see if these modifications to the TOS you mentioned ever come to pass!!! Excellent work, Pal!!

Well if they close the forums I guess the galleries are the next best place to go. Hopefully comments aren't a reason for deleting an image. Excellent portrait, your lighting adds so much impact to this!!!

For every natural loving good person that sees nothing wrong with nudity and being natural..there's some twisted mind out there. Bill, I think it's that we can't control the evil twisted thinkers out there in the world that we suffer. I know you have no vial intention in your art..and you know the same about me. There are some strange surfers out there though..not all but some.. that get their screwed up minds in a bunch. We'll be blamed for fueling their fire..just because. Nobody wants to be blamed for being negligent out there. That's what I think.. HUGE HUGS

As for myself I don't mind that the thread got locked as after having my say I found the other members handling things well.I must say that I don't agree with the reason why it was closed as they more or less said everyone had had their say so the thread gets closed...people weren't trying to rip one anothers throats out and even with the difference of opinions, the members handled themselves well I believe.I think rosity intends well but they're making some big mistakes as you have to employ tact and care when making such changes...I think the recent changes at rosity require a moment to step back and take a breath of fresh air is all.
