Description
The walls of the chamber were lined totally with
monitors, all perfectly intact but switched off.
Deeper into the chamber lay a strange-looking
piece of machinery, shaped like an X of
electricity set into the wall. Even though the
monitors remained silent and dark, the X sparkled
and sizzled the second Katriona stepped foot into
the room. Katriona took a few steps towards the
machine, eyes wide with amazement that this
contraption might still be running after sixty
years of neglect.

A proper portrait of Kat has been too many years
in the preparation, so I thought I'd better post
this latest wip for my most patient friend, Raye.
The background for this portrait should follow
very soon, it will be five years in the making
come June *L*.

Kat looks great! And yes, the light is really wonderful. I hope Kat will take you to incredible adventures - she looks quite a bright lady :-) Thanks for sharing this WIP - I'm sure it won't take to 2010 when we'll meet her again :-) And thanks for the RPG link! hugs :-)

Looking great, definitely ;-) You know what I think of this portrait of Kat already, dear Raye is gonna go nuts over this, even more so when everything's finished! gobsmacked Every time I look at this I'm amazed, and something new catches my eye every time. The lighting is stunning, and Kat herself is an image of gorgeous perfection. The character is truly brought to life, and I know Raye is going to love it. Bravo, on an amazing, amazing portrait.

Why can't you use Poser like everyone else, you show off!! Just one question, isn't Kat's head rather big for her body? Oh, I guess it's just right for an RPG character, like those fun Thunderbirds puppets from the 60s. Anyway, great stuff. Too good for a WIP! Hope to chat with you soon dear... :^)

I could say I haven't been hopping up and down and squealing over this. . .but ah, such a lie that would beL It is absolutely gorgeous and I've virtually had to duct tape my jaw back on! no_homers is right, the lighting work is exceptional, with just the right hints of blue to hint at what lies beyond. I love the hair and the face and the jacket...okay, I love every bit of it, it's wonderful:D:D It was such a lovely surprise when I first saw it loading on my screen, as I was having one of "those days" and this cheered me up immensely to see. HELLO, i like the way you draw hands, and make the clothes come about its as if layer upon layer of a secret knowing is enfolded in the work. fewer than most people think of the famous artists had this gift. Something special is being displayed before my eyes, being said. Nevermind the girl so much i see her but i read the lines and see 10 times as much. i say when i teach art to people it is not what you are drawing but the shape you consider, the lines. CHRUNCHERIFIC
