Description

I could kick myself for leaving my good camera at home. I'll never do that again. This was taken with a very old digital camera that I normally use to take reference shots. This picture was taken in the historic cemetery at St. Helena's Episcopal Church in Beaufort, SC. The church was used as a hospital by Union troops during the American Civil War. Several of the large above ground stone cyrpts were used as operating tables and still bear the blood stains to prove it. If you are into history and ever in the Beaufort area, this church is worth a look. All comments are welcome.
