I'm a software engineer from Minneapolis, MN just playing with the eval version of Rhino and having a little fun. My intent of joining this site was to learn how to use Rhino better. (This picture is of me when I went to Rio de Janeiro standing in front of the Sugar Loaf, was currently visiting The Christ)BIOThe reason I started using Rhino is because I heard it was good with jeweler. The only project I've done so far is a ring that I'm having built. I wanted to do a custom ring for my girlfriend and that's what got me into modelling. Now I guess I should start another project. ;-) Thanks everyone in the Rhino forum for helping me out with all my difficulties and problems. You guys are GREAT!!

I love the stone rolling down the sides, you can really feel the light bouncing through. I think that the main stone lacks some depth. Maybe if you light it diffrently and then drop it in with photoshop or such. One more thing, look at the shadows, they dont have the reflection/pass thru that a diamond casts. Those comments aside, the image is wonderful. (maybe loose the wood, just a sugestion)

Excellent overall style, the four poster bez setting for the main stone though now fun to solder up really sets off the focus. The side stones are set well but the bottom seemms a little chunky for a ladies ring. Other than that wonderful.

A cool ring, but the dual-shadows on the background, as well as the unbumped texture, really dampen the impact...

Very nice ring, love the fillet on the side curves, it is just right. You should make a line out of it; try rounds instead of princess, or assher cuts. I would also try some engraving going up from the half shank up along the channel just to see how it flows with it.
