Welcome to my homepage!
My name is Jet Cooper. I am a professional 3D Artist who resides on the Gold Coast, Australia.
I have been a 3D Modeller and Animator for the last 15 years. I work full time for a Medical / Visualisation Company and Freelance in my spare time.
My choice of weapon has been Lightwave since it was first released with the Video Toaster.
(Yes I am 39!). There are so many great 3D software packages out there - but, I started with LW and it has worked for me ever since.
I tend to finish a lot of my new stuff off with Zbrush. Once you get used to it - it is priceless....

ps. if you are curious as to why my handle is 'gfxforge' - I had a company called 'The Graphics Forge' back in the old days. Â 8 )

Very good job! I can see the water swirling around him.... simply awesome! (This isn't a rip off of a "Parting of the red seas" is it?).... lololol

Excellent work on the creature! I specially like the detailing on the chest, hands (opposable thumbs) and feet. The "water" seems fairly heavy and blobby looking, more like a dull mercury than water.

wow,the water spash out effect is cool......well done man.....

Yeah, I agree Moebius - I tried realistic water but, it would not show up enough against the dull background. I had invested too much time into the character, so I got slack. I thought that if the water was under some sort of mental control - it would affect the viscosity and opacity... well that's my excuse 8 )

Nice job, really nice modeling on the creature. I like the way the glow of the staff lights him too.
