Description

These lovely ladies opened on a plant acquired last year while in early, first bloom. She reflowered for us just beflore the Easter Holidays. As this plant is relatively new to us, and a young one, we were delighted to get a second bloom from her within a year!

This is one I don't recognise. a cattleya? Lucky you, orchids are about my favourite flowers, and phaleanopsis are what I like best, they never fail to flower and last for so long. re; your photo, I would crop some of the "nothingness" from the left side, it's distracting. Keep up the great work, and post more orchids.

I'll agree on the crop, but not too much. i'll also suggest maybe you've got some cabin fever/anticipation of spring going on. Some really nice, very subtle lighting here. Lots of indoor shots. It's been in the forties here, which is reason to wear shorts and spend days outside for my kids. best i can do is sit next to my open window and work, work, work. Think your orchids can bloom in the forties? My kids certainly have bloomed.

Good one Moonfish. Agree on crop, I'd try coming in to just the right of the brightest rectangles. Beautiful flowers.
