Description
I must thank you all for your very kind and encouraging commentary. This was the result of
a study in grayscaling-(hence the title)-and
layering in UltraFractal. The result, I think, is
substantially successful. But thank you all again
seriously for the responses: I have much yet to
learn-(in every direction)-and will gladly receive
advisings. Fractalwork in UtraFractal 3.05 and
postwork for background and lighting in Photoshop 5.5.

Grayscaling can really bring out some cool details! This turned out great. I like the irridescent shimmers around the spots.

Elegant and superbly executed, Daniel. Your choice of limited palette and great lighting combine with the excellent definition of render to make your image most graceful and visually appealing. Excellent composition!!!

This is really beautiful. I think the grayscale gives is sort of a spiderweb feel to it. Just wonderful!
