Description

Ok, this is an experiment I think I'm gonna repeat. the image was not cropped out of standard size one: instead this is a "panoramic macro" composed of three different shots. I had 4 or 5 shots of the drop on the left but I felt that the structure required some extra blurred space on the right. So I went shooting again... ;) What I like on this image is that the eye of the watcher is somewhat captured by the "in focus" part and at the same time it's free to wander in the rest of the picture... but it will be drawn to the drop again and again... :) At least... that is what happened to me when I first looked at it! No postwork on this piece at all, except of course stitching and a little sharpening after resizing. Final print should be really good! I'm leaving for the weekend, but I'll read your comments and see all your pictures as soon as I'm back! :)

I so often look at those little "jewels" of dew drops in our garden and long to get their exquisite refractions captured on screen. You've done more than that! This is like a precious gem that I'd like to wear as a necklace!
