Description
ok, I need some help on this one.
Wonderland's comment (which, unfortunately, she has deleted) to the original got me thinking.
Though I didn't add rays of light (since it's the bottom of the ocean where no light penetrates), I did add *some* volumetric effects.
The difference is hardly noticable, but *is* there.
And now I can't choose which one will make a better gift... help me out here? ;-)

OK, I was wondering why I got an IM with just a ":-D" on it! The main difference I see is that the stone looks a bit lighter and smoother and cleaner.... I think I do like the effect of this one better, but it's up to individual taste. The mood seems a bit more inviting or enchanting, if that makes any sense. Looks great! I'm curious how you are going to get it printed--professionally or on home printer? I'm wondering if all the nuances can be picked up in CMYK (I hate CMYK...) If you get it professionally printed, you might want to ask the printer which one he thinks would print better... :)

You need to make the choice and I think either one will work fine, agree with wonderland (mood):):):):):)

I think this one is better, the background is more blurry and "foggy" as it should be (the other was to bright for the bottom of the ocean, as you say). Also, in the foreground there less crispiness than the first pic, which is better for a underwater scene i beleive. I can't stop admiring the caustics in both pics!! I vote THIS one!

A lovely scene -wonderful colors and I really like the light reflections -since you asked for suggestions -perhaps it might add a touch more reality if the dolphins had a few air bubbles.:o) CC

The differences are subtle, but this seems "deeper", the green light has been filtered out too. I'd associate this with a depth of about 25-30 meters in moderately clear water. I've seen colors like these when diving in the Red Sea. Both are very well done, I think I like this one better. Excellent work!
