Description

Ultrafractal 3.02 Here's a further venture into the more abstracted side of fractal art. Maybe an attonement for my next post which (forgive me Benoit for I have sinned! LOL) has a sphere in it? I was taken by the foggy, nautical vibe of this one. My inspiration for making one like this was the awesome works of Etienne Saint-Amant and Gilles Nadeau. (not to mention my usual dumb luck in stumbling across the neat "sails and/or suspension bridge" shape) Not as good as their stuff but maybe if I look long enough at their fractals something will wear off on me - lol. Thanks for stopping by! (Wait till y'all see the image Joie has been working on for a LONG time - awesome flame scene. I'm not sure if she's gonna put it in PairOfPyros - our joint flame gallery - or in her own gargoyle84 gallery. Hope she calls it finished, soon - it's really nice) Rick ***(Fine art giclee' prints of most of my work are available in limited edition on archival paper or canvas - e-mail: drahcir3@hotmail.com and get busy filling that empty spot on the wall! Unique, "one-of-a-kind" (edition size = 1) prints are also available*** :-)

I was going to write that your image reminds me of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco in the fog, but someone else beat me to it. So, instead, I'll write that it looks like the Millennium Bridge over the Thames River. Good show, Rick.

Oh! This is a wonderful image, I love the colore you chose, add so much drama, it amazes me how you make such abstracts in such a real way, this is very diffrent to your spheres, which I adore, and it has lots of drama . very evocative piece.
