Description


This is another of my favourite orchid photos. If you look closely at the flower second from the bottom, you might see a small cream coloured grub, this nasty little creature annihilated every flower on the plant. The day after I took this pic there was not a single flower left. The culprit is a very small innocent looking butterfly, called the "Black & White Tit". Now we have all our orchids inside a butterfly-proof enclosure.

This is beautiful! I grow some orchids myself.Thanks for the heads up on that pest.It's a shame you lost that beauty but a blessing you captured it.
