Thank You ! No Matt, It's frustrating because I can't make it do what I want it to do. This seemingly simple render was reworked and tweeked hundreds of times and still I am not real Happy with it. The way Bryce mixes procedurals with picts is just infuriating has no real UV control - notice the lame texture on the Branch terrain (far right lower corner)- and textures are just one item in the litany of nitpics I have for the way Bryce handles things - Don't get me wrong -There is hardly a more fun tool to use than Bryce - but its final Output leaves alot to be desired. If Terragen for the Mac had modelling and tree /rock capabilities , I'd switch tomorrow!! But don't be discouraged - Welcome to Bryce Matt! Good Luck! If I can Help You with anything, Just email me - halt347@comcast.net

I agree with you on the mapping frustrations, I've had the same problem. But your mountains came out beautifully!

Most execellent terrain work. I well understand your frustrations. Go for Vue Infinite if landscape is your forte which it certainly appears to be.

I agree with Kenwas Try Vue infinite if you like landscapes,Bryce can be dammed annoying at times but still one of the best out there.

Aye, I disagree with the frustration levels... Art is only frustrating because you are a perfectionist! Great pic, you've done well on the snow-work...

If this is what is coming out of Bryce at your hands, don't trade it in. Take it from a lover of landscapes, this is truly spectacular!! A spectacle/grandeous creation...Bravo!!! V
