Description
One of a series, inspired by the tale of Pygmalion and Galatea, which I fell in love with as a child and rediscovered recently.
"He caressed it, and gave it presents such as young girls love, - bright shells and polished stones, little birds and flowers of various hues, beads and amber. He put rainment on its limbs, and jewels on its fingers, and a necklace about its neck."

Nice work, I like the theme and the charactors. I will have to read up on "Pygmalion and Galatea" to get the full impact.
