It was a big shock. I looked him up on Google a few weeks back as I was wanting to double-check the spelling of his name for a personal profile I was writing. Murdered. Given the nature of his work, it was like one of life's sick jokes. I feel very sad that possibly THE favourite artist of mine is no more. Thanks for this tribute... I get the feeling he was uncomfortable with fan attention but I'm sure he would have liked the gesture, and the rest of us can sit back and appreciate. I really think you're one of the closest artists I've seen to his talent. This is sublime.

It's nice to know hat there are so many Beksinski's admirers here. His death was a real shock to me too. Thanks for this great tribute to one of the most brilliant artists of our time.

This is an wonderful and touching image. I didn't know of his work, but I am certain to look into it now. I love the color tones and the detail in the flowers.
