Description
This is my second picture made with Sara Gilbert's photos. I've painted, overpainted, manipulated - and made quite many versions before this final one. You can see other versions in 2D Forum here. Thanks for everybody who helped me in creating this picture. And thank you, Sara, for your brilliant photos! :-)

Oh my Titta...it came out wonderfully!! The colors are awesome and your composition too. It really gives much to ponder about. What strikes me is the doubting look the reflection gives the girl, as if she says...is this the real you? What do you do with your life?

Actually I think I like the thumbnail better then the finished piece. It has a tighter composition a more contained since of space and gave me more of a feeling of refection. The full composition drags us out with details and loses the impact we can imagine. But it is very well done.

Beautifully composed work. The contrast between the solidity & red tones of the foreground figure & the blue/gray tones of the background shadows & reflections is especially effective & dramatic.

I know I'm late, but I just wanted to wait and put my reaction into some semblance of a comment! Not sure I can do it even now... take it as a compliment when I say I can't really elaborate about what this does! Something about the combination of that angle, the looming shadow, the contrasting colours and the depth of feeling makes it hard to pin down, and I love it for that :-) Thanks Titta hugest hugs

There is something about the arrangement of figure, reflections and shadow, as well as the carefully chosen colours that mark this pic out as outstanding. It's clear that you know what you are doing. But explaining it? It spooks the imagination, leaves so much space for interpretation. Surely a sign of great art!
