Description
Found this young robin behind my house. I'm glad my neighbour hasn't seen me, lying on ground at 7 o'clock in morning taking shots :-)
Thought how I could help her/him without touching, because there are so many cats around. But he/she was old enough to fly :-))))
Never thought that I could capture a free living bird with my 100mm lens, but well, sometimes luck is on your side...
(Canon Eos300d, 100mm lens, f5.6, ISO800)
Thanks for your interest !

Brilliant, Chris, the collage works really well. I guess you have discovered that young birds don't fear humans so much as adult ones do! I hope you enjoyed the moment! Cheers, Steve.

Superb capture!!! Lots of it has to do with chance and being there at the right time indeed! U've been so lucky to see this 'lil wonder and u definitely did it justice with those marvellous shots! There's just one thing though, why ISO 800?? The pic looks a bit grainy and since it was morning light I think u could have lower the ISO and then get a much less grainy shot! Just my 2 cents though and it's still a fantastic capture! ;)

Thanks for all the comments , really appreciate it ! Little robin sat in shadow of my house, so I had to use ISO800 to capture it handheld :-)
