Description

Thanks to all who have taken the time to post encouraging comments on my postings. I owe some of the structure of this work directly to "joeydude", who had graciously offered to share one of his parameter files with me: when I attempted to load the file in UltraFractal, I was informed that I lacked a crucial outside coloring algorithm, and that I needed to download the extended public formula files for UltraFractal. I promptly agreed, acquired the necessary files, and was soon marveling at the voluptuous architecture of his "Monday Newt" in the windows of UltraFractal. Of course, I had now an extended arsenal for structure, and shortly began to furiously explore the new possibilities. This work includes one of the coloring algorithms contained in the extended formula library, the "doodad" formula, and is used in the layering here. It is essential to this architecture. And let me again offer tribute to joeydude and his magnificent work: I would very probably not have attempted fractalwork at all without him.

I, too, thought this might have been Joe's image -- you've done a marvelous job with his parameters. Thank you! and keep on fractaling!

You have some gorgeous spirals here at your gallery! Sorry I've missed them before now. I really love the glowing, jewel-like quality of this one. The soft blur gives it a very elegant look. Nice work! V (:
